Rams Announce The Re-Signing of Jack Exeter

The Canterbury Rams are excited to announce the re-signing of Jack Exeter for the 2021 Sal’s NBL Season!

North Canterbury born and bred; Jack played his school basketball at Rangiora High School leading the Senior team to a Thomson Trophy Final birth in 2018. Jack was an instrumental piece for Rangiora High School over the years and was able to get further basketball experience through selection to the Koru Tour in 2015. He was also apart of the Mainland Eagles Touring team to Australia in early 2019, where he played against the NBA Global Academy Team and the Brisbane Bullets Academy team.

After graduating high school, Exeter chose to stay local and attend the University of Canterbury and play for the Canterbury Rams. He was an important piece for last years Sal’s NBL Showdown and we’re looking forward to having him represent Canterbury again this season. Rams Head Coach Mick Downer commented on Jack saying “Jack is a star on the rise. He’s been with our club since leaving high school but was unfortunately side-lined in 2019 with injury. His commitment and professionalism towards getting better and working on his game mentally, athletically and his basketball skill package is first class. We showed his potential in the 2020 Sal’s NBL Showdown but has continued to develop across all area’s and we are looking forward to Jack’s impact on our group this year.”
