CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – St Thomas College product Mana Martin has re-signed with the Rams for the 2025 season.
“Mana has a strong basketball foundation for a high school player and a natural ability to make shots,” said Head Coach Quinn Clinton. “His coachability and drive to get better has stood out and we see him continuing to refine his skills on both ends of the floor, developing into a really strong player. We’re excited for Year 2 with Mana as he competes daily against our older players, pushing himself to take the next step in his journey.”
17-year-old Martin Appeared in 7 Sal’s NBL games in 2024, scoring his first professional points versus the Nelson Giants. He also logged 9 Rapid League games, averaging 6.6 points and shooting a blistering 52.4% from deep.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be back with the boys, learning from some of the best players in New Zealand, and continuing to grow under Coach QC,” said Martin.
During the offseason, Martin played for the historic Junior Tall Blacks team that placed 4th at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup. His best performance of the tournament came against Egypt, where had had 10 points and 4 rebounds. Martin also scored 18 points at the Steven Adams Invitational game.
