Rams Add Tony Worthington

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – Join us in welcoming Tony Worthington to the Canterbury Rams.

“Looking forward to working with Tony this year. He plays hard every possession and loves doing the dirty work on the court,” said Head Coach Quinn Clinton. “With his massive motor, we’re excited to help him refine his skill set, build strong habits, and develop the right processes in our environment to take his game to the next level.”

The 6’7” forward played his High School ball at Rolleston College and represented Canterbury at the U20 Nationals in 2024.

“This is a big step in my journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity,” shared Worthington. “I’m excited to get on the court, put in the work, and do whatever it takes to help this team push for another title.”

“I’m excited to take on the challenges this season will bring, competing at the highest level with the support of the Rams fans and under the leadership of Coach Quinn.”

Individual game tickets are on sale now! Join us for our home opener against the Nelson Giants on March 16th, where we will be showcasing our 2024 championship banner.
