Rams & Pouākai Holiday Camps are action-packed basketball sessions where boys & girls (school years 5-10) can stay active, improve their skills, and have fun during the school holidays.
Led by Canterbury Rams & Mainland Pouākai players and coaches, the camps focus on developing key basketball fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting, and decision-making through a mix of skill stations, competitions, and small-sided games.
Our goal is to create a fun and energetic learning environment where players of all abilities can build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game.
Players will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with Rams & Pouākai players while learning from athletes competing in the National Basketball Leagues.
The camps are open to both boys and girls and take place at the Rams home base at Parakiore Recreation & Sports Centre. Spaces are limited to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.
Campers, please bring a drink bottle, morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea. Registrations open at 8:30am.

- Wed, July 8th (9:00am – 3:00pm) – Registrations close 10:00am July 7th.
- Thu, July 9th (9:00am – 3:00pm) – Registrations close 10:00am July 8th.
- Tue, July 14th (9:00am – 3:00pm) – Registrations close 10:00am July 13th.
Prices:
- 1 day = $60
- 2 days = $100
- 3 days = $150
- 4 days = $200
- 5 days = $250
