CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – Returning for his eighth season with the club, Team Captain Taylor Britt has re-signed with the Canterbury Rams.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Taylor back to the Rams. He’s an integral part of our team, and his leadership, along with his commitment to improvement, makes him a key asset to our organisation,” said Head Coach Quinn Clinton.
“Taylor has been a huge contributor to our success over the past two seasons, and we’re excited to see how he continues to evolve and elevate his game moving forward.”
Britt finished off the 2024 Sal’s NBL season with a crowded trophy cabinet, winning Most Outstanding NZ Guard, Most Improved Player, and earning his first All-Star Five nod. His nightly averages of 16.3 points per game and career-high 6.3 assists per game contributed towards the Rams’ league-best 121.7 offensive rating.

“Super excited to be able to play at home for another season with the Rams,” shared Britt on re-signing, “Looking forward to getting the lads together and trying to compete for another championship at Cowles.”
During the offseason Britt was selected to play for Judd Flavell’s first Tall Blacks team at the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. In impressive lead guard fashion, Britt recorded 13 assists to 0 turnovers against the Philippines.
