CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – Second year guard Tama Isaac will be returning to the Rams for the 2025 season.
“Look forward to seeing what Year 2 holds for Tama,” said Head Coach Quinn Clinton. “He’s made great strides over the past 12 months, and we’re eager to see him take another step this season. He’s a competitor who is constantly trying to get better and loves to be coached. He fits our group perfectly, and we can’t wait to battle alongside him this season.”
In his first season with the team, Isaac put up averages of 2.7 points and 1.2 assists in 9.3 minutes per game. Isaac was also one of the most impactful lead guards in Rapid League, finishing 2nd in assists and top 5 in steals.

“Excited to be back to play in front of Cowles and to run it back with the boys,” said Isaac.
Few young Kiwis have had as busy an offseason as 18-year-old Isaac, who has played at the FIBA U18 Asia Championship, NBA Global Academy Winter Showcase, and Australian U20 Nationals since the conclusion of the 2024 NZNBL season.
